With the exception of Greater Shepparton, Regional Victoria residents in the Wimmera, South West and Mallee cheer has the announcement was made today (Wednesday, September 8th) that businesses can start to open - Although limits will be in place.
There will no longer be a stay at the home requirement and the 5km travel limit will be removed. Following this change, the authorised worker list will no longer apply with 25% to return to the office, or up to 10 people within a total workplace if it's 40 people or less.
Regional Victoria residents will be allowed to travel interstate, with movement restricted between metropolitan Melbourne and regional Vic areas - Public gather's for up to 10 people.
Childcare, Early Learning, and Kindergarten will open, Schools open for face to face learning for students in Prep to Grade 2 and Year 12 only.
Outdoor personal training up to 10 people, community facilities open with max of 20 people, indoor fixed seated entertainment max 20 people, retail to open with restrictions and masks mandatory at all times AND CAN NOT BE REMOVED FOR EATING OR DRINKING IN A RETAIL SETTING. Food courts to only offer take-way only.
