Ms Price is also a columnist for The Weekly Advertiser’s monthly AgLife feature.

Ms Price is overseas and network owner and chairman Rowly Paterson accepted the award on her behalf.

Also in the country section, Kate Meade, familiar to The Morning Rush listeners on 3WM, won Best Sport Presenter for her work covering the 2018 AFL draft.

Other ACE awards were: Country, Best Breakfast Show, Monkey in the Morning on Coast FM in Warrnambool; Best Sales Team, 3NE-Edge FM in Wangaratta; Best Newcomer Off Air, Leona Chan 2QN-Edge FM in Echuca; and Provincial, Best Program Manager, Ryan Khay TRFM-GOLD 1242 in Gippsland.

ACE chief executive Mark Taylor said the awards again revealed the network’s high standing in the industry.

“Our network is dedicated to regional Victoria and southern NSW and our success in these awards is based on a dedicated effort to present high-quality radio for our loyal listeners,” he said.

“We have a wonderful team overall and it’s credit not only to the individual winners but the people behind them.

“The fact that we consistently feature in these awards, the pinnacle of the Australian commercial radio industry, is a reflection of the standards we set ourselves.”
