SES crews rescue two people in the Grampians
Stawell SES is urging walkers in the Grampians National Park to be cautious after attending two rescues on Monday afternoon.
Crews were called to the Wonderland Track at about 2pm to assist a 70-year-old man who had slipped, injuring his knee and back.
A short time later crews were called back to the area to rescue a 35-year-old woman who had fallen injuring her leg at McKenzie Falls.
Both the man and woman were taken to hospital for observation.
Stawell SES have now attended seven rescues in the Grampians in just over a week.
Anyone planning on visiting the area or go hiking this spring or summer is urged to be cautious and always let someone know where you are going and how long you plan to be gone for.
