Sundays Carols by candlelight HAVE BEEN CALLED OFF - the group late last night after days of researching and investigating licensing and copyright costs for playing pre-recorded carols online have found that due to the exponential costs they may face and possible fines in the tens of thousands the event just cannot go ahead.

Simon Dandy one of the head organisers spoke with Mixx FM & 3WM Jounalist Emma Elsom late last night and said how devastated he was for the committee, the organizers, performers, supporters and locals involved in the event not to mention everyone at home that was looking forward to being part of a once in a lifetime online carols that was meant to bring the Christmas spirit into the homes of many in the Wimmera.

Mr Dandy thanked everyone that had already put many hours into pulling the event together and hoped that everyone would understand why they cannot go ahead.
