After years of campaigning by community members and parliamentary members, the Warracknabeal Education Precinct has finally received the remaining funding to finish off what was started back in 2016...

The Warracknabeal education precinct is a comprehensive rebuild of the primary school, secondary college and the special development school....

Member for Western Victoria Jaala Pulford says the Warrack community campaigned hard to receive the final amount of money required to finish the project....with the state government finally coming through with the required funding to finish off the project,

19.8 million dollars has been allocated to Warracknabeal's education precinct, out of a 388.8 million dollar funding announcement made yesterday that is also doubling as en effort to restart Victoria's economy with a construction blitz and get people back into work.

One person who was very much over the moon with the announcement yesterday was Member for Lowan - Emma Kealy - who mentioned the incomplete Warracknabeal education precinct 132 times in parliament over the past five years - a record by all accounts.

Ms Kealy along with the local community members in Warrack campaigned for the projects completion with Ms Kealy saying the community were very vocal campaigners, working hard to receive the funding to complete the project....which should be finished in 2022.
